No. 4

by Anne Bourne

about

Constructed as a spherical sonic place for my brother Pete to enter and listen and rest. He did. (while his young son ran around the space almost tripping on wires and pulled his loose front tooth out with a blood-soaked grin handed the tooth to his mother and ran from the room with his mother following in protection. And when it was finished Pete said 'I like it, it sounds like you.'

This is No 4 in a series of piano improvisations that I am developing with string improvisations on the overtones from the clash of difference tones.
