about

NOTES
This quintet recording is an improvisation by Anne Bourne, Matt Brubeck, Paul Pulford, Nick Storring, and Germaine Liu.

This improvisation was recorded in 2008 during the time my brother was stationed with the Canadian Forces at Kandahar. He described that whenever something went wrong his band would play to ease the event.
The photograph of Afghanistan was provided by John Bourne.

In collective collaboration, Anne and John release this composition from the archives as a contemplative gesture towards alleviating the suffering of so many families.
